When do tickets go on sale?

Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets are not refundable or transferable.
Is there an age restriction for the festival?
The festival is all-ages.
What is the re-entry policy?
No re-entry is permitted.
Do I need to print my ticket or can I use my phone?
Both printed and e-tickets will be valid.
Will tickets be available at the door?
Tickets will be available at the box office of The Auditorium until 10:00 pm on each day of the festival.
Where can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets online from the festival website or in person at The Aud box office (400 East Avenue, Kitchener) or at the Centre in Square box office (101 Queen Street N, Kitchener).
Do children need tickets?
Children ages two and under will be granted free entrance. Anyone aged three and older will require a ticket.
Getting There & Parking
Where is the festival located?
In the adjacent parking lot at The Auditorium, 400 East Ave, Kitchener, ON
What are the parking options?
There is no on-site parking. Parking is available with VIP ticket purchase.
What is the best public transportation to the festival?
Please locate your best route schedule at Schedules - Grand River Transit
Note, the closest ION Light Rail drop off location for The Aud is the Borden stop which is a 10 minute walk to/from The Aud (approximately 650 meters)
Is rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup/dropoff available?
Yes. Instruct your driver to drop you off at the front entrance at the Aud, 400 East Avenue.
What time do gates open?
At 4:00 PM each day. Live music starts at 5:00 PM
What time does the festival end each day?
The festival ends at 11:00PM each day.
Is there accessible parking for disabled attendees?
Yes, on-site parking will be provided for cars displaying Accessible Parking Passes.
What to Bring/Not Bring
What items are prohibited?
For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the following items are prohibited at the festival: weapons of any kind, illegal substances, glass containers, professional cameras with detachable lenses, drones, laser pointers, and outside food or beverages (except sealed water bottles, limit one per person). Additionally, large backpacks, hard-sided coolers, beach umbrellas, selfie sticks, and any items that may be deemed dangerous or disruptive are not permitted. All bags will be subject to search upon entry. We reserve the right to confiscate any prohibited items.
Can I bring a backpack or bag?
Yes, but all bags are subject to checks prior to entry.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Food and drink will not be permitted upon entry. Empty water bottles are permitted. Water refilling stations will be available. Exceptions may be made for medical requirements.
Can I bring a camera?
Smartphone cameras are permitted but cameras with detachable lens, professional video and/or audio recording equipment is not permitted without the written permission of the festival.
Are chairs or blankets allowed?
A limited amount of space will be designated for chairs and blankets on a first come first seated arrangement. Note, this area is off to one side of the main stage and not centre of the viewing area. Chairs will not be permitted in any other area of the festival venue.
Can I bring an umbrella?
Yes, but please respect those around you attempting to view the stage.
Are earplugs provided or should I bring my own?
Earplugs will not be provided.
Can I bring a portable phone charger?
Yes.
Are selfie sticks allowed?
No.
Food & Drinks
What food options will be available?
Songscape will have local food truck vendors.
Is alcohol served at the festival?
Yes, canned alcoholic beverages will be served.
Can I bring my own water bottle?
Yes, although reusable bottles must be empty upon entry to the festival. Sealed water bottles are permitted.
Are there water refill stations?
Yes.
Health & Safety
Will there be first aid stations?
St. John’s Ambulance personnel will be present.
How can I contact security if needed?
Security and police will be stationed in various areas around the venue and volunteers can also direct you to security personnel.

Where can I find the schedule?
The schedule is available in the ‘Lineup’ page on our website.
What if it rains?
Songscape will go forward rain or shine.
How many stages will there be?
There will be two stages: a main stage and side stage.
Will there be a map of the festival grounds?
Yes. Check back a few weeks before the festival.
Miscellaneous
Is Wi-Fi available?
No.
In what way is the festival supporting the Gran River Hospital Foundation and the Awesome Music Project?
Proceeds from the festival will be donated to these charities.
Can I bring my pet?
Only service animals will be permitted entry.
Will there be ATMs?
Festival operated concessions including beverages and merchandise are entirely cashless. Food vendors will accept cash. There will be no ATMs available on site, so please come prepared.
Is there a lost and found?
Yes, items found during festival will be collected and placed with volunteers at the Welcome Tent near the main entrance. After the festival you can email mia@songscape.ca to enquire about lost items.
Are lockers available for rent?
No.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes, merchandise will be available for purchase at the Welcome Tent near the main entrance.
Will there be a smoking area?
Yes. Smoking will only be permitted in a designated area and no where else on the festival site.
