Join our Songscape family as a Front Gate Ticket Staff volunteer! You'll be one of the first friendly faces our guests encounter, ensuring a smooth and welcoming entry experience for all attendees. This role is crucial in setting the tone for everyone's festival experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Scan and validate physical and digital tickets using our ticket scanning system
- Check festival-goers' identification to verify age and ticket holder information
- Issue appropriate wristbands and credentials to attendees
- Direct guests to appropriate entrance lanes and provide basic festival information
- Maintain organized queuing systems during peak entry times
- Monitor for and report any suspicious tickets or security concerns
- Assist with accessibility needs and priority entrance for guests with disabilities
- Work collaboratively with security personnel and other festival staff
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Basic smartphone/tablet proficiency for operating ticket scanning equipment
- Positive, friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and courteous during high-volume periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be available for mandatory orientation and training session
Time Commitment
- Minimum two shifts during the festival
- One mandatory training session prior to the festival
- Must arrive 15 minutes before shift start time for briefing
