Key Responsibilities
- Assist with festival setup and teardown, including tents, signage, and basic infrastructure
- Monitor designated areas for safety hazards and report concerns to supervisors
- Direct festival attendees to various locations and provide general information
- Support crowd management and queue organization at venues and facilities
- Help maintain site cleanliness and manage waste sorting stations
- Assist with basic equipment transportation and setup as needed
- Support accessibility services for attendees with special needs
- Respond to general inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Aid in emergency situations by following established protocols
- Report any incidents or concerns to shift supervisors
- Comply with all health and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid government-issued ID
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Reliable and punctual with good time management skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Attendance at mandatory orientation session
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous festival or event experience
- First aid certification
- Additional language skills
- Knowledge of music industry or festival operations
- Conflict resolution skills
- Ability to problem-solve independently
Time Commitment
- Minimum commitment of two shifts during the festival
- Must be available for mandatory training session prior to the festival
- Must arrive 15 minutes before shift start time for briefing
