Bonnie Trash

Bonnie Trash is a post-punk band formed by twin sisters Emmalia and Sarafina Bortolon-Vettor from Guelph, Ontario. Their sound combines the austere elements of post-punk with the dramatic intensity of goth rock, resulting in a powerful musical experience that's been enhanced by adding Emma Howarth-Withers on bass and Dana Bellamy on drums. The sisters draw inspiration from their Italian heritage, incorporating Trevisan dialect and folklore into their work. Known for their electrifying live performances featuring Emmalia's thrashing guitar work and Sarafina's trance-like vocal presence, Bonnie Trash has established themselves as festival standouts across Canada with a sound that balances cathedral-like drama with crushing, distorted riffs.
