Volunteering at Songscape

As a volunteer at Songscape, you will be directly helping to raise awareness and funds for two outstanding charities – the Grand River Hospital Foundation and the Awesome Music Project. 

We are all about creating an amazing experience for our attendees. We want our volunteers to embody a warm, welcoming spirit at our festival community. We are looking for people who bring:

BEER SERVERS Serving beverages and ensuring responsible service with a smile.

BEER SALES Handling transactions, checking IDs, managing inventory, and creating a positive customer experience.

WELCOME TENT STAFF The friendly face of our festival. Providing information, selling merchandise, and helping attendees.

SITE STAFF Assist with site maintenance, waste management, accessibility support, and general festival operations

ENTRY GATE STAFF Scanning tickets and welcoming everyone to the festival with enthusiasm.

BAG CHECKERS Ensuring festival safety with friendly efficiency at entry points.

TIMING & COMMITMENT

• Minimum two shifts (4 hours each)
• Orientation: Thursday, June 19th
• Shift options: 
  • Friday, June 20th, 3:30pm - 7:30pm
  • Friday, June 20th,  7:30pm - 11:30pm
  • Saturday, June 21st, 3:30pm - 7:30pm
  • Saturday, June 21st,  7:30pm - 11:30pm
• 24-hour cancellation notice requested

REQUIREMENTS

• Beer sales and beer server applicants must have a valid Smart Serve qualification. We can help you obtain a Smart Serve qualification.
• Bag checker applicants must provide a valid criminal background check.

HOW TO APPLY

Please fill out the Google form attached to each volunteer position on this website. Applications close May 30th. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact applicants with shift sign-up details.
